Life Style: New Years Resolutions

I never really gave it a thought to actually jot down my New Year's Resolutions but to be completely honest, I don't actually ever make any resolutions but this year I want to follow some ideas and plans that I definitely want to stick to.

1. Blog/YouTube:
Share more experiences and personal opinions on both my blog and my YouTube account (which I have yet to make- I've been planning this since 2012). Do tutorials and reviews and just get into the internet spirit.

2. Staying Healthy:
This is a tough one for me. I love food(who doesn't?)  but I love all junk foods- fizzy drinks, chocolate and crisps! One of the things I want to do this year is cut down on my snacks. I've also downloaded some apps which help with yoga and are 5/10 minutes work outs.

3. Writing:
Another thing that I love doing is story writing. It's a hobby that I don't think will ever be lost to me. This year, I hope to have completed at least 5 novels that have been incomplete for a long while. I promise to get it done.

4. Be More Organized:
I love being organised but sometimes, it gets too messy for me to handle. That's why I want to follow through with everything I need to do and stick to my schedule. This is also for cleaning my room and organising it.

5. Letting My Creative Side Run Wild:
I'm currently studying Fashion in college and I love it but I need to do projects outside of the course to better myself and really just see how far I can take my creative side. I have already started some projects that I already completed but wanted to improve and I am in the process of working some new fun and exciting projects. It will all add up and look great for my fashion portfolio.

6. Learning Henna & Nail Art:
I really feel like learning how to do henna and nail art will enhance my skills as a fashion designer. It will provide me to be more creative and works well with the fact that it relates to beauty and I feel it is essential I learn and practice. Truth be told, I've always wanted to learn how to do henna. I've recently become obsessed with nail art and want to learn different ways to style my nails.

Original Beauty Blender

I've always wanted to try out the biggest talk in the world of beauty. The Beauty Blender. All the tutorials that I have watched have shown how amazingly it works and I hope it does the same for me.

I have a problem with getting my foundation to look flawless on my skin. Now I don't know if it's my foundation or my moisturiser but it's been bugging the crap out of me. I hoping that this will help make my foundation look smoother and more flawless.
The beauty blender comes with a blender cleanser which is a soap you use to clean the beauty blender. I personally don't know whether you have to get the cleanser in order to clean your blender however I do know that a lot of people had been complaining about it staining, so maybe it's a good thing, I got the cleanser too.
I know that a lot of people complain about the blender being small but to me it's quite average and I don't hate that. It's been made to fit into the corner of your eyes and be able to blend in a diagonal motion.

So I've just used it for the first time and what you have to do is wet the blender and then squeeze the access water:

(It barely fit back into the box! Plus I had to take out the cleanser!)

Overall I think the beauty blender works just a little bit better than brushes because you don't see harsh lines and it doesn't look to cakey, but that's just how I feel.

Let me know how you feel about the Beauty Blender.

Ciate Nail Polishes

Welcome back. So recently Ciate London were having a sale on their website and I just couldn't resist. I brought the Mini Mani Manor which was priced at only £14.70, from £49. That's an amazing bargain as you get 24 amazing nail products.  It's a cute little advent calendar.

Here are some of the swatches I did. I love numbers 1, 5, and 7, they're gorgeous! All the nail varnishes genuinely dry in 30 seconds if not less and I love that as I did the swatches one after the other with no problem of smudges or mishaps.
