Kylie Jenner Inspired Lips

Hey! I'm back and today is all about Kylie Jenner's Lip. I've come up with a combination which I think you'll like.

The lip liner was brought from Wilko and the lipstick was brought from Superdrug.

First Timers: My First YouTube video

Hello! Today I am so excited and nervous to announce that I have uploaded my first ever YouTube video! Agh! I can't believe I've done it although that's not to say that I won't take it down.

So the video is a 3 minute long video on how to do basic brows using the Beauty UK High Brow kit! I love this kit and I think it works perfectly well with my Rimmel London Brow This Way gel. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think of it. I should mention and point out that this was recorded and edited on my iPhone 5C- so I'm sorry if it doesn't look of a higher standard but hey- I'm allowed to have the whole 'started from the bottom now we here' moment just like all these other YouTubers had.

*THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.*  http://youtu.be/APx6JQFdrqY

Thanks again and bye for now!

L'oreal Paris Lipsticks

Welcome back!
So recently, L'oreal Paris was taking over the superdrug's instagram and were having a sale on some of their lip products for only £3 each. I ordered 5 Colour Riche lipsticks:

1. L'oreal Paris: No. 640- Erotique. This is muave nude lipstick- works better with a lip pencil.

2. L'oreal Paris: No. 364- Place Vendome. This is a maroon red that is perfect for those evenings out. For longer staying power- use a lip liner beforehand.

3. L'oreal Paris: No. 136- Flamingo Elegance. This is your ideal baby pink.

4. L'oreal Paris: No. 431- Fuchsia Declaration. This is a fuchsia pink that is the perfect colour for spring and summer.

5. L'oreal Paris: No. 632- Greige Amoureux. This is a mix between 640 and 136. It is a nude pink for those causal 'no makeup' days that we all suffer from.

Glue Pore Strip

So recently, I've begun to notice how big my pores and black heads are and had decided to look on-line for some home remedies.

The best and easiest way to remove blackheads is using PVA glue. I tested it out several times and can safely say that it does in fact work- it's almost as good as the real deals you see in store.

How To:
1. Get any sort of glue that is of a runny consistency. I'm using the Sainsburys basic PVA.
2. Makes sure your face is clean, use wipes, cleansers, etc.

3. Start by apply the PVA glue to you nose. I usually start at the sides of the nose and then work my way to the middle as we need the sides to get dryer quicker.

4. Wait for 15-20 minutes: use this time to read a book, write a book or re-evaluate your whole life (I did the last one)

5. Finally once you know the glue has dried- it becomes transparent, start off by peeling at one side- it might sting a little but that's just the blackheads being pulled out.

6. Once it's off- wash your face and add moisturiser.

And there you have it, ladies and gents: how to use school essentials to create a perfect pore strip for your nose. Try it out and let me know how it goes for you. Comment or contact me from any of my social media sites on my contacts page.
Bye for now!

Current Wants & Needs

I've decided to add a new addition to my blog that basically allows me to share what I'm looking to purchase and if in fact I have purchased it. It is something that I will be every month and hopefully this will help me not spend money on other things but rather on the things I feel I need.

To start off this series, I will be mentioning six products for this month:
1. MAC 15 eyeshadow palette in Warm Neutrals.
The reason I want this palette is because I think this is an overall good starter palette for beginners. I don't personally own ANY MAC Eyeshadows or quads etc, as I've only just recently been interested in makeup and MAC has just been catching my eye. This cost £65 so around £4.30 for each shadow.

2. Real Techniques Bold Metals collection.
Can we just stop and appreciate how gorgeous these brushes look? But I really do want to try these brushes out to see their quality and be able to detect the difference in them from their original collection. Prices vary from £10-£26 and can only brought from boots.

3. MAC Conceal & Correct in Medium.
This includes six shades and for that reason alone, I think it is a perfect little kit to start off my MAC collection. But I admit that I do own three MAC prolong wear concealers in different shades. This cost £35 so around £5.80 for each shade.

4. Travalo is a portable perfume spray. I love the fact that it is so hassle free as you only need to take the cap off your perfume and push the Travalo down and pump it. Awesome but cost £11.49 each.

5. Inglot Duraline.
This is really good for making your eyeshadow look it's natural colour on your eyelid. I feel like this would be a good investment for me and I do plan to buy it however they don't have it on their UK website but I did find it on eBay for £8.69.

6. BiorĂ© Pore Strips. I've been eying these bad boys for a while but I'm stuck as to whether they are a good investment. They cost £8 in superdrug which is around £1.30 for each pore strip.

Thanks for reading! We'll see if I actually do buy these products.
