Makeup Revolution & Swatches

Today is a good day! I have a huge Makeup Revolution haul with swatches and a tutorial too.
FACE:

Ultra Professional Blusher & Highlight Expert: This is kit that includes a 6 pan palette of different blusher shades and another one with highlighter shades. It also give a highlighter brush and a blusher brush. The blusher palette had different shades of pink and as you can see from my swatches, no shade is the same. The highlighting palette is amazing! I am so impressed with the pigmentation for both but those highlighters are gorgeous! Well done MUR! The prices on these palettes are so amazing at only £6 each. You honestly cannot go wrong with these. I would say that the formula for these have a slight buttery texture which makes it glide onto the skin smoother.

Contour Kit (Ultra Professional Collection 2016): This is a nicely sized contour kit that features a bronzer, a highlighter and a shimmery blusher. I think the contour colour is suited to work with a lot of skin tones and when blended right, it would look phenomenal. The highlighter is a strong pearl shade and the pink blusher has a bit of shimmer in it which might not be what some people want but it does look nice on the skin.

Pro Illuminator (Ultra Professional Collection 2016):This is one of the most raved about products from the MUR collection. This has only recently launched and beauty bloggers are loving it and so do I. It is a build able highlighter so you could go for subtlety if you prefer that or you can go all out and whip on a strong highlight.

EYES:

Awesome Metals Foil Finish: I got these in two shade: Pure Platinum and Rose Gold. Each kit comes with its own palette and liquid primer base. When I first swatched these I was so shocked at how buttery and creamy these were. It was so smooth that I honestly don't know why it would need a liquid based primer. (I'll be doing a comparison between these and the Stila ones so watch this space!)

Mono Eyeshadows: I have two normal Mono eyeshadows in the shades 'U Know U Want To' and 'Smooth As' and a baked mono eyeshadow in 'Heavenly'. These are really pigmented eyeshadows and  they only cost around £1-£2 depending on their formula.

Pure Pigments: In the shades, Angelic (baby pink), Indirect (gold), dynamic (bronze). I tried getting a swatch of these but it was a little to hard.

Liquid Liner (Ultra Professional Collection 2016): I liked the way it looked on my eyes. It was a super black liner. I think I will be investing in the full version!

Eye Primer (Ultra Professional Collection 2016): It has the look and texture of a concealer and works well with the MUR eyeshadows.

PALETTES:

Beach &Surf: There are a total of 12 pigmented colours and this particular palettes holds some strong blues. Most of these shades are shimmery with only a few mattes.

Disappear to the Beyond: This is more of an everyday palette with various browns and a bright navy for the perfect smokey eye.

Eyeshadow Palette (Ultra Professional Collection 2016): This palette has 7 everyday shades and 5 bold colours that will help you create different types of looks with a bright pink, navy, emerald green and some purples.

LIPS:

Lipsticks (Ultra Professional Collection 2016): Two shades were included in this collection in Red and Nude. These each cost a pound and are of good quality.

Intense Lip Gloss (Ultra Professional Collection 2016): Two shades in a hot pink and a shimmery nude pink.

Intense Lip Lacquers (Ultra Salvation Lip Collection): I have two shades in this, a maroon red and a purple. These are essentially pigmented lip glosses.

Velvet Lip Lacquers (Ultra Salvation Lip Collection): These are soft mattes that are a mix of being a lipstick and a liquid lipstick. I have a brown nude and a baby pink shade.

Ultra Velour Lip Lacquers (Ultra Salvation Lip Collection): Now theses are definitely liquid lipsticks that once you place the gloss onto your lips, it becomes matte really quickly. I have a purple and a hot pink.

Colour Block: This comes with a lip gloss, a lipstick and a nail polish. I got it in red and pink. I think these are a great gift idea.

BRUSHES:
I got two eye shadow brushes and three face brushes. Using them in my tutorial, I thought they were really great. They did a good job especially the crease brush.
